Setting a parameter in the config.properties file

Hello,

I need to be able to set the parameter config.selfrun_guest_mode=off in the config.properties file for a site. How can I get access to this file in the add-on?

This is to set the APs to turn off hotspot SSIDs if the controller becomes unavailable.
