msovideo won't clamp

The novideo_srgb clamp but the msovideo_srgb won't clamp at all for some reason, nvidia 595.79, i applied the MHC2 for [SDR] in the color profile but does nothing

I also noticed that for some reason when i restart my computer windows does clamp something on startup (i notice that color are more saturated in the login screen and soon afterward) but this clamp unapply as soon as windows starts its own things and apps

I checked and i don't have the clamp applied in nosrgb and msovideo_srgb but this still happens, could be this the reason?

The novideo_srgb clamp but the msovideo_srgb won't clamp

1. For Windows 10, version 2004 (20H1) or later is required. For Windows 11, version 21H2 might be needed. From Nvidia GPUs, only GTX 10xx or later (Pascal+) is supported.

2. Disable reference mode in the Nvidia Control Panel (Display -> Adjust desktop color settings -> Uncheck "Override to reference mode"). When this is enabled, gamma calibration doesn’t work in msovideo_srgb.

3. Enable Windows calibration (Color Management (colorcpl.exe) -> Advanced -> Change system default -> Advanced -> Check "Use Windows display calibration"). It mustn't affect anything, but who knows - maybe it will help you.

What you see is probably the result of Windows using an ICC profile or the Nvidia driver performing color space conversion from novideo_srgb (even when it hasn’t started yet).

You must have “Run at startup” enabled only in msovideo_srgb or novideo_srgb, as well as clamp, because they can interfere with each other in unexpected ways.
