Runtime supported versions

Could you provide what runtimes are supported and what versions for them.

By runtime are you referring to JavaScript runtimes?

It would be user friendly to have some documentation of supported node versions. I use nvm to switch node versions to test hosts out. Nightly is pre-released so if there are hosts that only work with unreleased features, we should note that.

I don't have nvm and npm on my machine. There's a few versions of Node.js specific hosts here and in the native-messaging-nodejs reprository for testing, if you go through the blame.

For Native Messaging hosts that are JavaScript, the runtime I test with is, in general updated at least once per week. For Node.js I run node from nightly releases.

At one point I was using .mjs extension. Then node added experimental-default-type and experimental-detect-module.

Node.js is a moving target. There's no way to discern which features will be implemented, and in which form, from day to day.

this isn't for me. I'm just thinking about the next devs who are gonna stumble across this repo. Your examples are well written, but some of them use newer features and I think it would be user friendly to document what node version it's working in.
