DLL 64 bits COM (Class Library / COM)

I presume you’re referring to the GS1 Syntax Engine rather than the Syntax Dictionary repo. If so, I can transfer this issue to the correct project.

In any case, COM and a C API have very different interface and deployment expectations, so this isn’t something we can “generate” automatically from the existing engine. A COM component needs a COM-friendly interface, marshaling rules, registration, etc.

The GS1 Syntax Engine is a modern, lightweight, cross-platform library with a C API. We don’t currently plan to ship or maintain a legacy Windows-only COM wrapper as part of the core project. If you need COM, you would need to build a COM wrapper.

If you (or someone else) were able to generate such a wrapper we would likely accept it as a community contribution, as we do for the Python and Rust bindings (that are functionally incomplete).
