The PDF file generated by the report is garbled when using Chinese

Bug Description

Hello, thank you very much for this open source project and your hard work. I installed gramps-web via Docker and selected Simplified Chinese as the system language, and my family tree is Chinese, it's displayed well in web. but the PDF content of the exported report is garbled. To reproduce, go to Reports->Descendant Tree->Generate. Whether or not I selected Chinese for the report translation, the generated PDF file still displays garbled text. GrampsAIO64 of windows version is OK. please provide some tips. Thank you.

Thanks for reporting. I suspect it's a backend issue, but it's good to know that it works for you on desktop. Could it be just an issue of missing fonts (not present in the docker image but present on your system)? Is that hypothesis consistent with what you're seeing?

In docker shell, i can cat /app/static/lang/zh_CN.json， and the Chinese character displayed properly. Can this prove docker image contain Chinese fonts?

I suspect the problem is that the Chinese translator is not called when generating the report, because I generated and compared three PDF reports, no matter what I selected, "English" or "Chinese" or "Default", the generated PDF content is the same, it seems that the "The translation to be used for the report" did not work?

No, it does not - the PDF reports might use some other fonts for some reason. I don't know enough at the moment to know how it works exactly (PDF generation is handled by Gramps core).
