Description

Provide the ability to change the blur / opacity of the currently configured project background. I believe this is a low-hanging fruit to improve the looks of the project.

Which alternatives did you consider using instead?

Alternatively, you can use an external tool to add blur / opacity to the background before uploading, but most times it requires some back and forth as a preview can't be visualized.
