Hi @C-Duv the problem is probably the device doesn't have a serialnumber. In that case, you still can try enabling the rules to import and update by MAC address. |

I've ran both But maybe I'm doing it incorrectly: Should I manually create those network devices in GLPI, with a serial number before running the network discovery? |

I can confirm you these netdisco and netinventory XMLs, when manually imported from my GLPI 11.0.5 inventory upload form, create devices in GLPI. These devices are created as "Network devices", not as "Unmanaged". "Unmanaged assets" can be created with the inventory of a device connected to these UBNT devices: LLDP protocol can identify the presence of such device but may miss to have all necessary data to create a "Network device". As soon as netdiscovery or netinventory task run on UBNT, the device should be migrated from "Unmanaged" to "Network" as GLPI link the MAC address. You have to check if these device are really inventoried. Maybe you have wrong or no credentials defined on the ip range for these devices. If you see the device as "Unmanaged" and also as "Network device", this may mean LLDP on linked device doesn't provide enough data to identify the device in "Network devices". |

I did not used those XML directly (but I assume the GLPI Agent Network discovery task did used the same XML The target agent of the Network discovery task is indeed connected to the switch (not the AP, not directly at least), so those unmanaged devices might come from that? But shouldn't it also discover (the same) devices via SNMP and their IP (which are in the IP range)? Well, according to you, Ubiquiti devices are supported, so it must be an misconfiguration on my side, I'll open a thread on the forum (too bad there is no IRC canal anymore and no Mattermost-like chat service to replace it). |

Your idea
It seems Ubiquiti UniFi networking devices are not supported as my Network discovery job places them under "Unmanaged assets".
MIBs are located here (as per documentation)
I can provide snmpwalk output.
