Multi-select in mod installer #1967

Hello! This has been suggested a few times before, but personally I'm against having any sort of way to bulk-install arbitrary mods. My reasoning is that we already have a lot of users who just download the entire index without even checking what the mods are and then get confused as to why their game no longer works, and any sort of bulk-installing would just encourage that behaviour even more. At least currently they have to open the mod's description page, even if they are unable to to read it. I do see some legitimate usecases for this, such as reinstalling your mods on another device, or installing a bunch of popular known-to-work-together mods. However, I'd much rather we solve those issues via loader profiles and modpacks respectively, rather than arbitrary bulk-downloading. |

The idea would be, when in the mod download page, have a checkbox to install multiple at once.
Here's my very temporary Google Slides model of this:

The actual UI shouldn't be too hard to make, although it might be a bit of a challenge to make sure nothing interferes with rate limiting or anything like that.
I would be willing to implement this, but I have very much C++ knowledge, nor do I even know where this installer page is in the codebase :/
Either way, while this isn't a very high priority feature, it'd be a nice QOL thing to avoid opening tons of menus.
