Gemini provider validation failed even authentication using google account

For me, having a google gemini for organization, and always choose 'google account' for authentication. Furthermore, for security reason, API_KEY is not allowed for us. So, when I only provide a 'project_id', reading from '$GOOGLE_CLOUD_PROJECT', it will always encounter a error with message: "Provider gemini configuration validation failed: api_key: required for authentication ..."

Could you provide extra way to authentication?

I am not aware of any other type of authentication for the API calls. Usually, you should get an API key from your organization. Maybe I am missing something? https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/oauth
