The architecture page demonstrates all the different terms using an example, but this example is scattered through the text.
I'd like to have the demonstration setting worked out before hand. So we need to figure out what is a real use case that we can use to demonstrate the different terms. Preferably not too complex.
A good example could be:
- VMWare disk image
- A dual boot Win/Linux physical disk
Make (at least) two drawings:
- one of the actual setup, how the filesystems and such are arranged physically on disk
- how dissect transforms this in a target
