Good Design Practices

Should probably be split into:

• Writing tests (and doctests)
• Building with cargo (if we didn't do that already)
• Deriving things (like Debug, Copy, PartialEq, etc)

Or at least have a more useful title, because people keep wanting to look up "Derives" but it's not in the index.
