Update EBS to Fedora 44 and Python 3.14

EBS is currently using Fedora 42 (Python 3.13), which will soon go out of support. This needs to be updated, and as both Fedora 43 and 44 use Python 3.14, going to 44 (which is nearly GA) gets us another year of support.
