nedit-ng does not go front when opening a file

Hi,

A file is already open under nedit-ng.
Another window is placed in front of the nedit-ng. If I open again the same file, I would expect the nedit-ng to come at the first place. This is the legacy nedit behaviour.
Is it possible to do the same ?
I'm running under Mate/RHE8.10

I think we TRY to bring it to front, but i'll check it out. Thanks!
