In this example, all the tracks have the same ALBUMARTIST, ALBUM, COMMENT & ARTIST tag.
However, tracks 1 & 2 have a BARCODE tag, while 3 & 4 have a UPC tag. This will then put tracks 1 & 2 in a release group, and tracks 3 & 4 in their own release, while they should be with the rest of the album.
like here:
The tracks had a TON of different tags, and I tracked it down that BARCODE was the culprit. If I remove BARCODE from track 1, then it's merged with 3 & 4. If I add it back, it's merged back with the track that has a BARCODE tag.
The same thing happens when tracks have a different COPYRIGHT tag (for ex first 2 tracks have
© 2009 labeland last 2 have© 2011 label). But for the copyright one, it adds these infos in the tracklist's footer, so not sure how this could be handled for merging..Do you know which other tags can make this occur?
