Smart playlists

Would it be possible to create smart playlists? My use case would at least include being based on user ratings, but also artist and genre would be nice, either separately or combined.

Lms has global filters active in nearly all views.
Would it work for your use case to add a filter for user ratings? There is already a genre filter.

I guess that would only create a temporary queue within the web UI? I'd like to import this into Symfonium, so I guess that wouldn't be enough.

I can use the filters to create a static playlist, but it wouldn't automatically update if I add more music or change a song's metadata?

Yes, you can create a playlist from the queue and import it in symfonium, but indeed this playlist won't update if you add or change some metadata

It would've just been convenient to have my set of playlists created only once, have them all exist in one place, and then import and auto-sync to where they are needed.

It's not a huge loss, as Symfonium has its own smart playlist functionality, would've just been easier to manager. But in the web UI I'd have to redo the filtering every time, so yeah having a filter for user ratings would help here.

Maybe make it possible to save a set of filters (and in what category (albums/artists/tracks) they were used) as a playlist?
