Preventing Endless Chat Loops Among Agents

Hello! I was wondering if anyone as experience building on the functionality of the discord plugin for dealing with agents getting into endless chat loops. I'm thinking this will require implementing message cooldowns, context awareness for knowing when talking to other agents, or detecting patterns for repetitive responses. I would still like them to chat with each other to some extent I've been only just recently realized I'm going to need to get my hands dirty. Would this require direct editing of the discord client or developing a new plugin?

Any insight would be much appreciated.
