I want to contribute to the MPC integration idea mentioned in the docs, specifically this item in the “Desired changes” section: “4. Integration of PySINDy with a Python model-predictive control (MPC) code.”

My background is in control engineering, mainly NMPC and trajectory optimization, and I use CasADi a lot. Before I build something large, I wanted to check what is considered in scope for this item. Are you primarily looking for a practical example workflow, a docs tutorial, small helper utilities in PySINDy, or a real maintained integration API?
I can start with a minimal contribution first, possibly a CasADi-based example if that fits your preferred direction, but I want to avoid building the wrong thing. Thanks!
