Would it be possible to make the branch protection rules optional?

Hi! I don't have administrative access to the repos, so I cannot view the branch protection rules.

The consequence is that I cannot use DASH at all, because it stops from searching PRs and issues. Would it be possible to make this requirement optional or does it break the app?

I'm starting to suspect the API being used is different from the one that does gh pr list, which does work for me with that PAT.

Hmm yeah branchProtectionRules are used to display reviews you need from code owners.
Maybe we can handle this more gracefully? @sideshowbarker

That makes sense. Given there was a recent virus that specifically targeted gh, I am not willing to give administrator rights to my PAT, hence the restricted permissions
