WearOS companion app

Hi :) I feel like a WearOS app to go alongside the main app would be helpful.

When for example I'm tracking a walk my watch has a pretty constant gps connection but my phone doesn't. It'd be cool if a WearOS app could supply the phone app with the additional gps points when active.

Thanks for the idea, but a WearOS companion is not planned currently. It would be a second app with its own tracking service, permissions and release track and that is more than I can maintain alongside the phone app. Leaving this open under Ideas in case others want to weigh in.
