what flags do you use with each binary (png and jpg related if a lot to mention) in lossy mode?

They are all in the pdf_optimizer.py file.

For example, with jpegoptim (https://www.kokkonen.net/tjko/src/man/jpegoptim.txt):

                            quality = 85
                            if dpi <= 100: quality = 70
                            elif dpi <= 200: quality = 80

Python subprocess passes those commands to jpegoptim.exe, changing the quality based on the DPI set by the user. There are many combinations of the .exe I haven't tried that could probably be improved. But I did try many combinations of different tools to squeeze out more without hurting quality too much.

P.S. Is it possible for you to compile ghostscript with JPEG2000 encoding option? They say it`s best in terms of file sizes

It preserves JPEG2000 if the image is already JPEG2000. But from my tests, when I converted to JPEG2000, it started having problems (I believe with CMYK or something).
