Navigation routing with various menu & sub menu links #25

Just out of curiosity, lets say inside the navbar div you had a simple multi layered navigation menu, as seen in the photo -
If each li link had its own partial html file, how would I be able to adjust the script to implement the routing in the same way it was done initially?
Would I have to target the children of the' 'fragmentID'?
