When this is activated in my site, it complety stops another plugin from working and my site crashes

Took me hours to track this down. But I use several "shop as customer" plugins on my site. Where and admin can take over a customer account and place an order for them. Useful for phone in orders or emailed orders. Pretty standard stuff.

I was having an issue where every time I tried to add an item to a cart, the site would freeze and lockup. I thought it was the Shop as Customer plugins, I bought and tried FOUR different ones. As it seems to be, it's the Address Book plugin that is causing this breakdown.

When the address book is active, all four of the Shop As Customer plugins function the same way. WHich is so odd, as adding a product to the cart has absolutely nothing to do with addresses stored in someones account. It's not even close to getting to checkout where you'd enter such an address.

But I tested it on three hosts, 4 versions of the site, and it's easily repeatable. When the Address Book plugin is active? The site is toast.

I really need some help on this one. It seems like there's a memory leak or something that just takes over all the servers process power and doesn't let go.

HELP! Now what?

Do you have examples of which ones had issues so we can try them out?

We use the User Switching plugin all the time to do this and it works great with the Address Book.

I tried three different switchers, all 3 hung up when adding to the cart, sometimes just loading a product page alone would lock it all up. 1. Login & Shop as Customer (purchased from woocommerce.com <http://woocommerce.com/>) 2. Shop as a Customer (also purchased from woocommerce.com <http://woocommerce.com/>) 3. WooCommerce Shop as Customer (purchased from codecanyon) All three do the same thing, only with Address Book activated. I should add, my main issue is the years of addresses my customers already have in the plugin. So I can't realistically switch to another Address Book plugin without asking everyone to start over. They hate that, some have 30 addresses in their books. So my goal was to switch Switching plugins as to keep the Address book plugin going. but when all the switchers work the same, I have to conclude somethings not quite right with the Address Book plugin itself, on my site at least.

If I only had a few customers, I could manually print them out and retype them in or something, but I have over 1000 customers and that's just not realistic.

I really need the existing Address Book plugin to work again. It worked for years before I updated everything a few weeks back.

I've tried all combinations of plugins on and off, and it really is just this one conflict.

Just an update. I installed that switcher you recommended in your first post. It worked great as a switcher. But it too did the same thing as my paid 3 plugins. Just hangs when I hit "switch to" it never did switch, just locked up the site exactly the same as the others.

Maybe my Address Book plugin is just corrupted? How can I test?

Another update. I went and re-downloaded the Free version, I had the latest 3.10, then I tried 3.03, no good. I went down to 2.6.6 and the switcher now works perfect! Which makes sense, because I hadn't updated any plugins in a very long time, so I'm sure I was on 2.X of the Address Book when everything worked fine...so something after 2.6.6 changed enough to screw my site up. I don't like leaving plugins not updated. But it appears I do need some help here. I'd be willing to by the Pro version, or pay for the tech support needed to get this working again and in the future when updates come again.
