What is the idea?

Within conda, environment variables can be set for a given environment and can be initialized when the environment is activated -
https://docs.conda.io/projects/conda/en/latest/user-guide/tasks/manage-environments.html#setting-environment-variables

It would be helpful if these could be bundled with an archive and follow the same behavior when an extracted archive is activated as well.

Why is this needed?

Parity with conda env activation features

What should happen?

Variables defined in an environment.yaml section should be packed and extracted with conda-packs
