po uploader < > characters error

The translation interface po file uploader could not parse '<' and '>' characters correctly and raise an error.

Sorry for late reply.
The string is 'Less-than sign hidden Greater-than sign' (line 4159 in core po file)
Probably GitHub editor removed my typing.
