BC Bid Replacement 2020-2022
Ivalua Software as a Service (SaaS) Procure-to-Pay solution launched June 2022.
Employer: BC Ministry of Citizens' Services, BC Bid Replacement Project
Code: GUI-based configuration, SQL.
Tasks: Business analysis; Risk analysis; Accessibility review; Configuration options for procurement workflows; User experience (UX); Business Impact Analysis; Training planning; Web-based documentation design and building; Prototyping (procurement list management).
Sub-Project: I coordinated creation and publishing of self-serve learning resources including 80 YouTube videos and 5 online (CMS Lite) Guides.

Community Energy & Emissions Database (CEED) 2019-2020
Part CRM, part Grants Management tool. Bringing hundreds of past and current clean energy funding applications together into a database.
Employer: BC Ministry of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation; BC Ministry of Indigenous Relations & Reconciliation
Code: Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Portal, custom code.
Tasks: Project management; User experience (UX); Vendor management; Business analysis; Database, views and forms configuration; User acceptance testing.

Web Applications - in industry

Cedar Box 2007-2018
A secure integrated web-based application for (1) promoting Stewardship Office team collaboration and (2) managing consultation, heritage, fieldwork and GIS data – all to protect and promote First Nations cultural revitalization and economic development. The Cedar project is now maintained and extended by Mighty Oaks.

Manitoba Burn App 2017
Andy Nadler of Peak HydroMet Solutions contracted me to build a simple to use map-enabled crop residue permitting system. Manitoba Government representatives issue hundreds of permits every year to control the timing of crop residue burning so that smoke does not obstruct public roadways or create problems for neighbouring residents.

Integrated Range Information System 2015-2017
A secure map-enabled portal for exploring and maintaining a rich range management knowledge base for BC Provincial government staff. The resulting community of practice site, has powerful browse and search capabilities covering the following topics: range science and technology, range administration, range legislation, range policy and range procedures.

BC Indigenous Arts Map 2016
An online map‐driven community of practice website for BC Indigenous artists.
Client: First Peoples’ Culture Council
Code: PHP/Drupal, database is MarianDB, maps built using Leaflet JS.

Peace Forage Tool 2014
A web-based decision support tool to help forage producers and re-vegetation specialists select appropriate forage species for their seeding projects. The “Peace Forage Seeding Tool – An interactive forage seeding database for the Peace Region” is up and running. TheTool contains information on 47 different agronomic and native grass and legume species. The Tool’s database is based on the excellent 282 page BC Rangeland Seeding Manual by Allen Dobb and Sandra Burton which was published last year by the Ministry of Agriculture.
