Bug Description
Text entry doesn't seem to enter any text when the handy window is not selected. The shortcut activates and I can see the little popup, but it immediately closes. Sometimes the transcript appears in the history, other times it does not. Sometimes it also only captures the very start or end - in the log, the transcription says Work. but the words spoken were Let's see if this will work. Either way, the text does not appear in the target application.
Some things I noticed:
- handy appears to run in X11 mode judging by the logs
- handy does not appear under
nvtop
- the model (parakeet v3) doesn't seem to be loaded on the GPU
- when pressing the shortcut, the active window loses focus
Not sure which of these are relevant at all.
