animation gets really slow (and crashes)

Most animations work smoothly however, certain animations (like city) gets really slow and it crashes.

Is there any way to disable specific animations (or add my own)?

Hey there! Thanks for using cy. I'm sorry to hear these animations are causing you trouble. You can selectively enable the ones you want using the :animations parameter:

(param/set :root :animations @["maelstrom"])

In the meantime, I will investigate the poor performance. Is it just city? Are any other animations affected?
