Group search in share menu requires exact ID match

Open the Share menu on a record and go to the Groups tab to see this: you have to type in the exact identifier of a group to pull it up in the UI. Typing the description or a part of the ID is not enough. This is very inconvenient behavior, bad enough to make groups essentially unusable.

I'm not sure if we can fix this in our instance or if it needs to be fixed upstream. I would prefer to fix upstream rather than override a react component.

The AJAX requests behind the groups search are like /api/groups?facets=%7B%7D&page=1&q=animation&size=10&sort=bestmatch

Modifying the OpenSearch query, if we append a wildcard * then results are as you'd expect, but "animation majors*" would not match the id animation_majors. Given typed text %s what we want in the API query string is q=id:%s+OR+description:%s to match words in either the group id or user-friendly description.

I believe this happens in AddUserGroupAccessModal.js from invenio-app-rdm. Note that a "suggestUsers" query is used while it's "getGroups", implying the user query is broader. Indeed, it seems to be some kind of fuzzy query because it will retrieve users without exact matches in identifier or name fields.
