[Feature request] Full text search

I use Full Text Search in my Nextcloud. It's work pretty well from Nextcloud GUI. But I found out MCP not return any items when I try use search for something that work on gui.
Could you add support for full text search in MCP? I have many invoices in my Nextcloud and sometime I want found out something fast by product name - I don't remember file names.

For fulltextsearch I use these addons and self-hosted elasticsearch instance.

Hi @Dragonk thanks for raising the issue. I have developed the MCP server (& Astrolabe integration) to be self-contained in terms of search functionality. The semantic search feature provides a full-text capability over supported documents, which I think the elasticsearch plugin/app does as well.

Is there a reason that using the MCP server and associated search features is not sufficient and instead you want to continue using the fulltextsearch app? I don't personally use it so don't know about how it works.

FullTextSearch work with GUI, not only via MCP. Not need extra vector database and not need re-indexing my files. You also not need LLM for this fulltextsearch with elasticsearch and tesseract. Semantic search need LLM
