Problem description
We need to ensure the Release Review PR information is as simple as possible to follow by codeowners. Some updates to the Release Issue template can be done to be more explicit.
Possible evolution
Updates:
Change the text of the first tick box the first tick box to refer to the CHANGELOG file.:
- from: All relevant changes copied into Added / Changed / Fixed / Removed (per API as needed)
- to: CHANGELOG updated: All relevant changes copied into Added / Changed / Fixed / Removed sections (as needed. Do not copy administrative changes, only changes relevant for API consumers).
Add the word "Actions" to the checklist headers
- "Codeowners Review" -> "Codeowners Review Actions"
- "Release Management Review" -> "Release Management Review Actions"
We could keep this issue open for a while as Teams start using the automation so more can be added as needed, unless it is considered easier/better to do quick fixes.
