select disk to install windows

Forgive me if there is already an answer for what I am asking, I can't find it.
Is there any way to change the disk where the installation will be done?
I have a vps with a small 20GB disk in /dev/vda where a debian is installed and a 2TB /dev/vdb where I want to install windows but the script selects the small one and stops because of limited space.
I edited unattended.xml file and put install to disk 2 and the installation completed, but then could not boot because the partition wasn't active (I guess).
Any help is very appreciated.

I tried what you said and got the error extlinux command not found. I installed extlinux and now the error is unsupported boot loader.
I have debian 13 should I try with another distro?

Your computer uses Legacy BIOS boot. Even if Windows is successfully installed on a second hard drive, you would still need to manually adjust the BIOS boot order or configure the original system's GRUB to access it. Because these steps require manual user intervention, the script does not support installing the system to a second drive on Legacy BIOS machines.

You can try the original method and then manually adjust your BIOS or the existing system's GRUB after installation to boot from the second hard drive.

Unfortunately I can't change anything in bios because it is an old vm using seabios, provided from the university.
I ended up installing windows 2022 and now I am doing an in place update to 2025.
