I think this should be optional, not nuleable but optional, it is something we can reproduce in most of the cases and it will depend on the software.

I agree. It is something that is always calculatable. Even if it is too complicated to calculate sometimes, then the whole column should be missing and not just single values.

Yes, we are refining what is nullable and optional. nullable (which is not this case) is that we the column is present but it could be null, in this case, is that the column may or may not appear. This is getting refined in this PR #149
