parallel like replacement strings (include --plus expansion?

parallel --link cp {1} {2/.}.eng.srt ::: (fd -e srt) ::: (fd . -e mkv ..)

That command rename all srt files in current folder to matched ../*.mkv files. It should be same name except extension. parallel has replacement strings for like those situations. --plus option offer more extended replacement strings.

Simply, this problem is how can I get file name from other files (or some custom input)?
