Consensus of most reliable/compatible laptop/tablet for Artisan?

My Old Chromebook no longer gets updates, and Crostini/Linux has been quirky so I am looking for something new to run Artisan. I was thinking about a used Lenovo ThinkPad X280, or T480, but was hoping for some guidance, I have a Kaleido M2, I bought for the sole purpose of learning Artisan. I hope whatever I get will work well with future Artisan updates. I'm in Japan so I have access to used market stuff at reasonable prices.
