Your information is wrong. v1.2 was the first release with builds for Linux. Those were 64bit. We never did 32bit builds for the Linux platform. Anyhow, older builds are not available any longer. Sorry. |

Hello:
I'm afraid not. That is some sort of content management software. Best, PCL |

Hello:
Thank you for having taken the time to write all this up. 8^D But there is no need for an argument here, technical or of any other sort.
I provided nothing, much less a software stack. What I did was upload a photograph of what clicking on "About Artisan" (first label on the Artisan [Help] drop down menu) showed on my netbook's screen. ie: proof of the existence of a 32bit Artisan for Linux.
strongly indicates? I'm afraid you leave me no other choice but to proceed and put paid to this So, without further ado, I bring you a photograph of what clicking on "Platform" (ninth label on the Artisan [Help] drop down menu) shows on my netbook's screen. ie: even further proof of the existence of a 32bit Artisan for Linux,.
Hmm ... One last thing: le ridicule est un lieu d'où l'on ne revient pas. Best, PCL |

I think this discussion is getting unproductive. The answer to the original question if there are builds available for 32bit Debian is NO, even if some experimental builds might have existed at some point. However, the Artisan source code of all versions is available and nothing prevents one to run those from source or produce such a build. Thus I have to add that building of Artisan is non-trivial and in case of 32bit one might even have to build most of the packages which Artisan depends on like Qt, PyQt, scipy, numpy, matplotlib,... down to Python. As we write the year 2025 and there are builds of the latest Artisan available for all major current platforms, and this is way more capable and stable than any version before, it does not make sense to spend time on old versions. |
