Updating Docuwiki while using Docuroam?

First of al, thank you for sharing your hard work. Curious if there's a way to use it with recent Dokuwiki versions? Or does this repository code contain a Dokuwiki fork baked into it? I have checked the vendor folder but there's no mention of Dokuwiki
