Setting orientation after init causes screen artifacts

It seems if you set the orientation after init, the screen (ST7789) gets noise rendered to it.

Setting the orientation before init works fine.

Do you mean that there is a temporary artifact until the screen is cleared or is there a permanent issue? An image of the problem would help us diagnose the issue.
