Not as a native first-class target in the same way as Claude Code / Cursor / OpenCode, but yes as an adapted workflow.

The right way to think about GitHub Copilot + VS Code is:

  • ECC can still provide the rules, skill content, command vocabulary, and workflow structure
  • what you do not get automatically is the same native harness behavior, hook model, and install experience we have on the primary targets

So for Copilot/VS Code the best current approach is selective adaptation:

  • keep deterministic coding/project constraints in repo-visible rule/instruction files
  • keep richer workflows as skills or reusable prompt packs
  • map the command vocabulary you actually use instead of trying to emulate …
