Oauth or HTTP Basic auth

Another Question, does myfin support ouath or HTTP Basic auth or is it planned?

Regarding OAuth is not currently in the roadmap, but I might explore that option if there's a good amount of interest for it.

Regarding HTTP Basic auth, what would the use case for it be?
MyFin already has a mechanism in place for session/auth management that is generally considered safer than the one you propose.

For HTTP Basic Auth is also a way how people can Implement a SSO solution via a reverse proxy.

I understand the technical side of it, but is there a specific use case for which SSO would make sense for a platform like MyFin?

For myself for example I have multiple users wo want to use it and since I have multiple services I implemented a SSO Provider that everyone has his password on all services. Multi-Factor-Auth is the same and so on. My users are a bit picky for having a service where its not the same password or needs to be changed on its own to match the others.

Thanks for clarifying. MyFin doesn't currently support this, but I'll try to look into this in the near future to hopefully be able to support your use case.

As per the roadmap, I'm currently focusing on the backup/restore fuctionality.
After that, I'll try to take a deeper look at what your request would entail technically speaking. I'll keep you posted!
