How to Edit Video Properties/Metadata for v2

Howdy!

I have a simple script that does some mass editing for video files and now I need to be able to change metadata (properties) on the files outside of the filename (which OS library handles just fine).
The last documentation, I could find, on how to do this was made a year ago. Obviously outdated with v2 now out.

Was wondering how is this accomplished in v2 now?
