Is your feature request or bug report related to a problem?
Yes. There is a frustrating behavior when using the app while lying in bed (which is the primary usecase for a sleep timer). The app constantly rotates the screen to landscape mode, even if the global "Auto-rotate" setting is disabled in the Android system settings.
Because of this, it becomes impossible to use the app comfortably while lying down on one's side. I literally have to sit up in bed just to interact with the UI without it flipping around.
Describe the solution you'd like
It would be great to either:
- Lock the app UI strictly to portrait orientation by default, as it's a utility app that doesn't benefit from landscape mode.
- Respect the Android system-wide auto-rotate toggle.
- Add an in-app setting to "Lock Orientation to Portrait".
Additional context
Since this is a sleep timer, a vast majority of users will interact with it in bed. Preventing accidental screen rotation in a horizontal position would drastically improve the user experience for everyone.
Thank you for your great work on this app!
