FEATURE: Email / SMTP #158
Description
I think this is one of the big features that's missing. Email would be used for new user signups:
- Admin adds user / email address
- Site sends welcome email to the user, with a confirmation link
- User confirms and sets password.
Additionally
- Subscriptions, eg, I want to know when items are added or changed in a list.
- This would work excellently with OIDC or other auth schemes.
For my use case, (I use Amazon SES), it should support StartTLS and custom ports, authentication.
