Stable API

Hello! Current user of Duet Date Picker here. I'm super excited about Cally, but I'm hesitant to use the library in production because it isn't yet at version 1.0.0, so the API could change.

Are there plans to stabilize the API? I'd love to learn more about the roadmap, even if a version 1.0 is some time away. (I realize that this project is less than a year old! 🙂 )

Hey! I can't imagine any breaking changes. There are no API choices that I regret or wish to change.

I will likely publish as v1 once all the current/open PRs are merged and released (haven't had much time recently to do so). All of those are additive, so even then it'll be a smooth path.

The only large scale change I'm considering is a rewrite to a purely vanilla component, since it would likely halve the bundle size. But even that would not be a breaking change (hurrah for a standard interface provided by WCs!), it would be purely internal

@rdebeasi one planned breaking change is to move away from 0-indexed day numbers (Sunday = 0, Monday = 1, etc) to the 1-indexed ISO standard. I'm tracking that here #84

I'll probably make that part of the v1 release to minimise disruption/frustration (since npm is lax about v0.x upgrades)
