Problem
Backlog docs include stale items that no longer match source state (example: cosine_similarity appears absent from src-tauri/src/infra/db.rs while still listed as open in backlog docs).
Scope
- Audit
docs/PHASE4_DEFECT_BACKLOG.md and .json against current codebase
- Mark resolved items as closed with commit/PR references
- Keep only actionable open defects
Acceptance Criteria
- Every open defect maps to a current reproducible issue in source/benchmarks
- Resolved defects include closure evidence
- Backlog severity/status fields are internally consistent between md/json
