Description
For our paper we will need to show the respective accuracy of our distance determination and edge detection algorithm given known inputs. An example similar to this can be seen in the LOST paper.
First we will need to pass in a generated image with known edge points to the edge detection algorithm and measure the accuracy respective to noice. This analysis must be done separately for each edge detection algorithm we have.
Next we must measure the accuracy of distance determination with a known amount of noise added to the edge points.
Finally we will test the full pipeline using our image generator as well as some real world images from other missions.
Issue #57 should be closed before work begins on creating these tools.
