OpenROAD changes in last 12 months

I was curious about frequency of file changes in OpenROAD. There are ca. 7000 in src/.

Note that OpenROAD keeps the entire review history, so a file gets many changes per PR, so I wouldn't read too much into the absolute number of changes. I'm thinking the number of changes are representative of activity.

zooming in on the top 100-1000 bucket.

There's a long tail meaning even after the top 1000, we've seen 5 changes in the last year. Looking at a specific file, src/rcx/include/rcx/extSolverGen.h, we can get a sense for what sort of changes file undergo, even if there is no development:
