So it turns out it is specifically the fancy entity renderer that has compatibility issues here... When I removed it from my main menu manually and then after booting the game edited it through the UI, I got this crash.

Minecraft crashed. The logs have been uploaded to gnomebot.dev:

(I forgot to mention tried to block the mixin but that obviously didn't do anything)

Can you confirm that this happens between Cumulus and the other mod on their own? I don't see any relevant mentions of Cumulus in the crash and don't know what the cause of the issue would be.
