Don't Fragment bit control

Hello,
I do not find an option to control the don't fragment bit. Is this option possible in smokeping_prober?

I Addition a metric to indicate If this flag is Set and the icmp Packet size would be nice

At the end there is the Idea to Check Maximum MTU size on a path and Checks If it will Change from time to time.

So maybe a flag which does periodical Tests with DF Bit Set and increasing Packet size to Check the max MTU on the path
