Make "date: auto" automatically use today's date #36

Background

I am a total newbie to typst, so just as #32 I am again trying to get a letter for a date "today". I guess, that should be quite a common thing, as the issues also show?

I am using the VSCode/VScodium TinyMist extension.

Same as #37 but here is a related solution, that, IMHO, though could be implemented both.

Proposal

As I saw in the the typing/docs auto, so I guess you can provide some default or/additionally write auto (did not work for me but maybe that's just the properties definitions fault)?

In any case, why not display "today's date" as the default date? Or somehow make it easier to display it?

As for a new Typst user, the solution here looks overly complicated for such a common use case.
