Immich deduper vs Immich's own duplicate defection

Has anyone ever conducted tests to find whats the difference between Immich's integrated deduper and Immich Deduper ?
If so could you please provide the results.
Comparisons without proof are also welcome but please just mention that it is from your own experience and not as a test.

I built this because Immich's built-in detection wasn't flexible enough for my needs.

Some examples from README:

• Search for specific photos (path filter, filename filter)
• Process many groups at once (Multi Mode)
• Search by "roughly how similar" with adjustable threshold

Sometimes photos aren't exactly identical but I want them grouped together - the threshold control makes this possible.

Give it a try, you might find more use cases that fit your workflow!
